New Online Distance Counselling Service

RASAC is now able to offer distance counselling using digital services for anyone who wants to consider counselling but can’t commit to office based weekly face-to-face sessions. Provided via phone calls or online services such as Skype or Whats App for the counselling contact, counsellors can provide ongoing contact ensuring the importance of weekly counsellor contact as part of the trauma recovery programme.

RASAC has a number of trained counsellors who regularly use these platforms as their counselling contact method and would welcome contact from anyone who wants sexual trauma counselling but cannot always make a weekly office based appointment. While such counselling can be time efficient and effective, though a face-to-face consultation would still be part of the process for assessment as would planned and regular office based review appointments (normally every 6 weeks).
